THE UTAH PARTNERSHIP

for Business and Education, Inc.

Schools

We work with many schools to encourage students in acquiring professions in which they will excel. We do this by giving scholarships and by introducing students to businesses that may want to hire them after school.

In 2002, The Utah Partnership became the recipient of a $3.5M grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to implement a network of six Early College High Schools (ECHS) in the State of Utah.  The Utah ECHS Initiative is a part of the national Initiative started by the Gates Foundation.

The ECHS Initiative called for smaller schools that focus on Math, Science and Technology.  They also focus on under represented populations, minorities and those students who are first generation college-bound.

We are pleased to announce that all six schools have now opened their doors.   Please click on the "Schools" page to learn more about each school.
